Noah’s Ark Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the care of unwanted and abused animals found in the pounds, shelters, or relinquished from owners.
We were originally founded in Ohio in 2013 by our president Sharon. Sharon has been rescuing animals for 25 years, and when she relocated to Florida, she knew her work in the rescue world was not done. While Sharon and her family are the immediate caregivers to most of the animals, we believe in a foster based style of rescue, and have a network of foster homes that help out on a case-by-case basis.
We also have an amazing board of directors, who are 100% volunteers, and help to over see the daily operations of our organization.
While we’re just getting starting in the Tampa Bay Area, our growing team has a great deal of experience and expertise when it comes to helping pets in need, and we know we’ll be able to grow and save many animals with their help, as well as the ongoing support of our community!
We know every animal that comes to us is different, that’s why we adjust our process to ensure each pet gets the care it needs, and finds an amazing home that’s the best fit for them!
We believe that through foster based rescue, we’re able to set dogs up for true success and happy tails! While our dogs wait for their forever families to come along, they live in foster families where we get to know so much about them! We strive to find the best fit for each pet, to ensure a forever home. Adoptions are never first come, first serve, rather, which home will work best for that particular pet. We always take our animals back if an adoption doesn’t work out, but we never want to see it come to that. Learn more about our adoption process here: Adopt
We are 100% run by our amazing volunteers! From our board of directions, to our every day functions, we would be nothing without the support of dedicated volunteers. To learn more about what our volunteers do, or if you’d like to join us, you can learn more here: Volunteer
We know the best place for any pet is with their loving family, but sometimes families fall on hard times and feel forced to re home a loved pet due to temporary circumstances. We strive to offer the needed support when possible, to keep these pets in their homes.
